Job summary

Currys plc's iD Mobile is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to shape and deliver architecture across BSS/OSS, digital and retail channels. Hybrid working in Waterloo and a 12-month fixed-term contract are offered.

The role requires ownership of end-to-end solution design, strong stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with host network operators and third-party platforms to ensure scalable, cost-effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience architecting solutions within a mobile network operator or MVNO environment.
• Understanding of core mobile processes: billing, real time charging, SIM/eSIM lifecycle.
• Experience with BSS/OSS architectures and CRM/product catalogue integration.
• Knowledge of TM Forum Open APIs, eTOM, SID.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation, analysis, and review of solution architectures across projects.
• Own end-to-end design aligning business needs with technical solutions.
• Define components, services, and designs across architecture domains.
• Oversee integration with host operator and third-party providers.
• Ensure real-time, high-volume workloads with scalability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory and PCI DSS compliance.
