Job summary

UBDS Group is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design across Azure-based data platforms, integrations and security for complex, regulated environments. You will collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams and governance boards to ensure secure, scalable architectures and high-quality documentation.

The role emphasizes client-facing leadership, architecture governance and the delivery of pragmatic solutions across data and cloud domains.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Solution Architect or similar in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience owning end-to-end solution architecture across complex technology programmes or projects.
• Strong experience designing solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms, data architectures and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture and solution design for complex projects.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust designs.
• Design solutions spanning data platforms, applications, integrations, Azure cloud services and security.
• Provide architectural leadership across data platforms and technologies such as Azure Databricks.
• Define integration approaches between applications, data platforms, APIs and wider enterprise services.
• Collaborate with security, data, integration and domain architects to ensure alignment.
• Produce architecture documentation and diagrams; present to governance boards.
• Ensure non-functional requirements are incorporated into designs.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Identify risks and constraints and work with teams to resolve them.
