Working within the Public Safety business, you will define policies and standards guiding technology delivery, with significant experience in modern, cloud-based technology standards and practices.

As Solution Architect, you will lead a team of architects, providing architectural design and technology roadmaps for complex Policing and National Security applications supporting high-volume, mission-critical products and services. You may also oversee architectural needs within our Control Room application suites.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery, and Technical Leads to influence and define a technology roadmap aligning with our commercial and technological goals.

The core aim is to provide technical assurance for successful deployment of NECSWS Public Safety products while protecting our commercial interests.

The Solution Architect will work with project managers and the architecture team to:

• Ensure scope of supply is correctly documented and maintained
• Identify and manage technical project risks
• Document and agree on non-functional requirements from customers
• Ensure impact assessments are practical and use existing products where possible
• Identify opportunities for additional product sales

Qualifications

You will have a good understanding of:

• C++, C#, SQL Server, Windows platforms, Domains / AD, Mitel skills based routing

And good practical knowledge of:

• C coding, SIP protocol, VOIP – RTP / RTCP, latency / jitter handling

In-depth knowledge of:

• Tetra network behaviors – Motorola Dimetra, 3GPP networks (Kodiak MCX), Softil SDK, analogue radio base stations (VHF, MF), PABX functionality, Airwave certification, EISEC service

The Solution Architect will manage customer technical relationships, support the bid process, and promote the architectural vision within the team and wider organization.
