Job summary

Carpenters Group seeks an experienced solicitor or PI file handler to manage a full, varied caseload in a pain‑related injury team. You will draft, advise and progress claims independently, following the Serious Injury Guide and Rehabilitation Code where appropriate.

You will lead client care, liaise with medical experts and Counsel, meet KPIs, support juniors, and contribute to high-quality documentation and strategic case management.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer with the ability to independently manage a full and varied caseload.
• Proven ability to run claimant personal injury matters and progress cases proactively.
• Strong experience with MOJ and Intermediate Track claims within a pain‑related area.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a specialist caseload of Intermediate Track and Multi-Track motor claims.
• Work towards targets for costs, progression, settlements and client satisfaction.
• Carry out domiciliary visits when required with professionalism and care.
• Demonstrate empathy in all client interactions and manage vulnerabilities early.
