Job summary

Lester Aldridge is seeking an experienced solicitor to join our Litigation and Recoveries team in a role focusing on the recovery of outstanding debts and assets for lenders and commercial clients. The candidate will handle defended litigation and bring strong consumer credit asset finance experience to bear on complex matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in Defended Litigation.
• Strong background in Consumer Credit Asset Finance.
• Expertise in debt recovery for lenders and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a case load independently and advise clients in writing, by telephone and in person.
• Progress litigation cases on small, fast and multi-track from pre-issue through to enforcement.
• Draft pleadings, evidence and court-related documents.
• Advise clients on strategy and commercial approaches.
• Involvement in client reporting requirements.
• Develop new client enquiries and cross-refer to colleagues where applicable.
• Research issues to provide creative client solutions.
• Ensure compliance with firm procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support business development initiatives.
• Stay current with latest legal knowledge and industry practices.
