Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor in Bournemouth to manage a substantial caseload of defended litigation and asset recovery, advising on strategy for major finance houses.

This Legal 500-ranked firm offers real flexibility with full-time or part-time/hybrid working, 25 days' holiday (plus your birthday off), ongoing training, and mentoring opportunities to help develop the team.

Qualifications

• Litigation Solicitor with 3+ PQE.
• Strong background in Consumer Credit, Asset Finance or Defended Litigation.
• Confident managing your own caseload independently.
• Excellent client communication and commercial mindset.
• Able to mentor colleagues and contribute to team development.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own substantial caseload of defended litigation and asset recovery
• Act for major finance houses, banks, and lenders on complex debt recovery
• Progress litigation from pre-issue through to enforcement
• Draft pleadings, evidence, and court documentation
• Advise on strategy and commercial approach
