We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Software Team Leader to join our newly created physical access control development team.

The candidate will develop multiple software products and tools used commercially and internally. Liaising with various departments within the company and external sources as appropriate is essential.

Activities include:

1. Coding, designing, documenting, training, maintaining, and testing software.
2. Implementing modification control procedures relevant to hardware and software, including documentation updates.
3. Providing technical and investigative services across departments regarding software developed for sale and internal use.

We seek an autonomous individual eager to understand market needs to serve as the deputy to our R&D team Director.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and improve access control software and supporting products.
2. Document development processes and lead projects.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
4. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
5. Train internal developers and support staff on features and systems.
6. Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
8. Support and lead R&D team members to enable the R&D manager to focus on long-term projects.

Profile

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer and team lead or similar role.
• Experience developing web applications with database backends.
• Experience architecting systems.
• Experience with SQL Server and integrating third-party REST APIs.
• Optional experience with hardware integration.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Kestrel, .NET Core, and Angular.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Business awareness.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week (8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break). Hybrid working—working from home once a week.
