Job summary

Gemba Advantage in London (Hybrid) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable systems for critical public sector projects, requiring active SC clearance and DV eligibility. You will join two sister teams, work on cloud-native services, and help raise engineering standards while mentoring colleagues.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, secure development practices, and delivering high-value solutions in regulated environments while four days on site

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance with eligibility for DV.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade systems in regulated environments.
• Mastery of at least one modern language (Java/TypeScript/Python/Go).
• Cloud and security-focused development with container technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable software within small, agile teams.
• Balance writing quality code with shaping overall architecture and technical strategy.
• Set modern engineering standards, champion best practices (CI/CD, DevSecOps), and mentor teammates.
• Work directly with customers to untangle complex requirements and deliver high-value solutions.
