Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking software engineers to join our High Integrity Software team in Bath, UK. You will help develop safety-critical software for aerospace, defence, rail, automotive and energy sectors, adhering to rigorous standards and quality practices.

The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days in the Bath office. Candidates should bring strong knowledge of SDLC, requirements, development or test, and experience with ADA/SPARK and relevant industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the safety-critical software development life cycle.
• Expertise in requirements, development or test.
• Experience in aerospace, transport, defence, rail, automotive.
• Knowledge of Spark/Software Language ADA.
• Familiar with standards such as 61508, 50128, 26262, 00-55, ED-109, DO-178.
• Organised with good time management and prioritisation.
• Methodical, with attention to detail and logical reasoning.
