Job summary

Cathcart Associates Group Ltd is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join a UK tech consultancy embracing remote-first working across Scotland. You’ll work with .NET, TypeScript, Python and Kotlin in end-to-end projects, owning cloud deployment and infrastructure with a DevOps mindset.

We value strong software engineering fundamentals, TDD, and the ability to learn new technologies while collaborating in a supportive consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in modern languages (e.g. .NET, Java, Python, Kotlin).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with microservices, IaC, and front-end (React)
• Testing with TDD and strong software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native solutions across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with teams to own the delivery lifecycle and deployment.
• Contribute to technical direction and higher-level architecture decisions.
• Maintain high coding standards and keep up with evolving technologies.
