Civica is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in the United Kingdom (Daventry). You will design, develop and implement scalable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet user and business needs.

The role emphasizes Go and React expertise along with C#, .NET and Angular experience, strong TDD and DevOps practices, and cloud platform skills (Azure/AWS). You will contribute to high-quality, secure, and maintainable software for public services.

Qualifications

Expert in Go and React with strong backend and frontend capabilities.
Experience with C#, .NET and Angular is highly desirable.
Proficient in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms; strong DevOps practices.
Knowledge of database design with SQL and NoSQL databases; agile/scrum mindset.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement innovative software solutions for public services.
Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainability.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with timely, effective fixes.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, code and processes.
