Job summary

Civica is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the UK (Wales). You will design, develop and implement scalable software solutions that power public services and citizens. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and meet business goals.

Expertise in Go, React, and C#/.NET with Angular is preferred. You will apply TDD, CI/CD and DevOps practices, and collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to drive robust, secure systems in an Agile

Qualifications

• Experience building software in Go, React, C#/.NET and Angular.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum with iterative delivery.
• Proficient in TDD and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and DevOps practices.
• Database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement software solutions across platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI and engineers to deliver value.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation.
• Champion scalable, secure and maintainable code.
