Job summary

Mondrian Alpha is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing team. You will own projects from design through deployment, building modern business systems, cloud data platforms, APIs, automation and AI-enabled solutions that support the investment platform.

You will work directly with investment, finance and operations teams to deliver impactful software, leveraging AI-assisted engineering and modern tooling.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack focus.
Strong experience delivering business applications, APIs and backend services on Azure.
Experience designing or operating ETL/ELT data pipelines and data platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
Comfortable owning technical delivery and working with business stakeholders.
Experience using AI tools to accelerate software development.

Responsibilities

Design and build full-stack applications and internal platforms.
Develop APIs, integrations and cloud-native solutions on Azure.
Maintain Azure SQL databases and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Modernise reporting, automation and workflows across teams.
Collaborate with investment, finance and operations stakeholders.
