Job summary

Youngs Employment Services is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help move a major booking platform to Azure and a modern .NET stack while building AI-powered quotation tools. You will design and ship production services, support a strangler-fig migration, and collaborate with product and engineering teams in a hybrid London role.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of .NET/C# experience, strong Azure expertise, and hands-on capability with AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on software development, predominantly in .NET/C#.
• Recent experience with modern .NET (6/7/8+) and Blazor.
• Strong Azure experience including App Service or Container Apps and Azure SQL.
• Experience modernising legacy systems with an incremental approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support cloud-based services on Azure with .NET.
• Lead a strangler-fig migration from legacy to cloud-based architecture.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Implement secure services and authentication using Entra ID / OAuth2.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams and mentor juniors.
• Contribute to AI-enabled tooling and knowledge platforms.
