Job summary

Moonpig Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Manchester (ideally) or London, in a hybrid role (1-2 days a week). You will help the Search team build scalable experiences using OpenSearch, AWS and modern web technologies.

You will mentor teammates, contribute to engineering principles, and collaborate across Moonpig to deliver features that delight customers. This is a chance to shape engineering culture while shipping impact.

Qualifications

• OpenSearch/Elasticsearch experience preferred.
• Experience across frontend and backend with AWS serverless, React, Node.js, TypeScript, C#, GraphQL.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and guide others.
• Willingness to grow into Engineering Lead.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a cross-functional team designing, implementing and A/B testing new features.
• Own backend integration with OpenSearch engine and related services.
• Build and maintain infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop frontend features in React and GraphQL.
• Write clean code with AWS, Terraform, Node.js, .NET, TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with client teams to support integrations and drive success.
