What you’ll achieve:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that meet our business needs and align with industry best practices. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that contribute to our company's growth and technological innovation.

Our Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for driving technical decisions and must stay abreast of advancements in related technologies. Working with the broader R&D team, focusing on developing new features and supporting existing customers. You will bring the right engineering capabilities to the existing team to make it more cohesive and effective.

Essential Duties

• Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them.
• Participates in the development of software user manuals. May act as a team leader on less complex projects.
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
• Coordinate and communicate with global product management, program management, QA, and technical support at various stages of product development.
• Understand Business requirements and convert them into technical requirement.
• Analyze, design, and develop web applications with good code quality aspects.
• Effective and proactive communication with across the global team.
• Perform active measures to ensure products functions as intended.
• Develop and test proof of concepts using various tools and frameworks.
• Own work assignments end-to-end building out capabilities and features for product needs.

Desired Requirements / Hands-on Experience

• BE/BTech/MCA/Equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from an accredited university or college with 4 + years of relevant experience
• SDK Development: Designed modular, reusable, and lightweight Android SDKs with backward compatibility and support for device and OS fragmentation
• Languages and Architecture: Strong in Java, Kotlin, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles
• Android Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Jetpack components, Data Binding, modularization, and AAR packaging
• API Integration: Integrated RESTful APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp, with robust JSON parsing and serialization
• Performance and Security: Focused on performance, ProGuard and R8 rules, obfuscation, and secure practices using Keystore and token protection
• Testing: Wrote unit, integration, and instrumentation tests for SDK and sample apps
• CI/CD: Familiar with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, for SDK versioning and publishing
• Sample Apps: Built demo apps to simulate edge cases and assist with developer onboarding and QA
• Play Store Compliance: Knowledge of Android permission models and Play Store publishing guidelines
