Darktrace in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and contribute across a broad range of initiatives, developing and maintaining the macOS codebase with C++ and Swift in a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive code reviews, write tests, and mentor colleagues while advancing our defense against unknown cyber-attacks and exploring new technologies.

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience in modern C++.
• Experience with Swift or keen to deepen expertise.
• Knowledgeable in Unix/macOS development environments.
• Comfortable working autonomously and making sound technical decisions.
• Knowledgeable or deeply interested in cyber-security and malware forensics.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems.

Aufgaben

• Building, designing, and maintaining the macOS codebase using modern C++ and Swift.
• Leading and contributing to projects from rapid prototyping to structured development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
