Wise in London is seeking a mid-senior backend-focused engineer to help build mission-critical infrastructure behind every sending transaction. You will contribute to both backend and frontend work, collaborating with product, design, and data teams to deliver a fast, reliable sending experience.

• Join our Send Core team and help build the critical infrastructure behind every sending transaction.
• Help make sending money as easy and fast as paying for groceries with your card.
• Maintain and improve our core infrastructure.
• Build customer-facing products that power the send journey.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver the best experience for our customers.
• Own the systems that every sending transaction depends on across the entire platform.
• Make architectural decisions for the core send components to keep them reliable and performant.
• Work primarily on backend development and also contribute to frontend work.
• Explore ways to improve our products and our day-to-day work.

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in building complex, high-reliability systems
