Job summary

MHR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our People and Finance platform. You will work in a Scrum team with product managers, UX designers, and developers, contributing to innovation and best practices.

You’ll collaborate across front-end and back-end technologies, applying Angular or similar frameworks, C# and .NET Core, and Azure services.

Qualifications

• Experience in full stack development using modern web technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud services and RESTful architectures.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to best practices.

Your Impact

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, your contributions will be integral to our success. From designing and developing applications to mentoring junior team members, your work will drive quality, efficiency, and scalability. Technical Skills

• Experience in front-end and back-end technologies in particular working in Angular - or similar JavaScript MVC framework, C# and .NET Core development.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based development.
• Knowledge of web security, RESTful Web Services and RESTful architecture and API design principles.
• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering concepts such as design patterns, SOLID principles, polymorphism, and threading.
• Experience mentoring junior members of staff

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite in our Newcastle office.
