Job summary

MHR International UK Limited is hiring a Data Engineer in the UK. You will join a supportive team to develop data solutions that power our People and Finance platform, working with data platforms and cross-functional groups.

As an early-career data professional, you’ll gain hands-on experience with Azure, SQL, Python, data pipelines and database operations, with mentoring to help you grow into a fully-fledged Data Engineer.

Your Team

You’ll work closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Operations, and Support teams to help deliver reliable, scalable data solutions that support our products and customers.

As part of an Agile engineering environment, you’ll collaborate across teams, gain exposure to real‑world data challenges, and contribute to the stability and performance of our data platforms while building your technical expertise.

Your Impact

As a Data Engineer, you'll help support and enhance our data platforms by monitoring databases, troubleshooting data issues, and contributing to data validation and deployment activities. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll build hands‑on experience with Azure, SQL, and modern data engineering practices while developing the skills needed to progress your career in data engineering.

Key Skills

• SQL and relational database fundamentals
• Understanding of data structures and database concepts
• Basic Python programming

• Experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, or Azure Functions

• Experience investigating data quality or database issues
