As a Senior Software Engineer on the Capacity Management team, you will architect, develop, scale, and monitor solutions, improvements, and services that provide dashboards, tools, and interfaces for managing Olo’s products. Our team creates tools and features that support the day-to-day operations of our clients and acts as the face of Olo for our customers.

We value collaboration, encourage new ideas and experimentation, and maintain a modern technology stack. You will work remotely within the United Kingdom, contracted through Deel, our Employer of Record, which handles legal and administrative employment responsibilities, while you maintain your relationship with Olo.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable, high-quality components and services aligned with team and company goals.
• Contribute to technical decision-making, including solution design and architecture, focusing on technical debt, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Monitor and improve system performance, resolve issues swiftly, and communicate effectively during incidents.
• Support and troubleshoot issues, developing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Document and share knowledge to enhance the team’s technical expertise.
• Champion best practices in software development, agile methodologies, and continuous improvement.

What We'll Expect From You

• Experience architecting and developing end-to-end flows in distributed/microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in writing unit tests and testable code.
