Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to help design, build and operate secure, scalable software powering our global digital platforms. In this senior individual contributor role, you will own complex technical challenges and work with engineering, product and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive improvements in reliability, observability and performance while aligning with RX standards.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large, complex, global systems.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Strong communication with engineers, product and stakeholders.
• Ownership of production services including reliability and observability.
• Mentoring engineers and improving team capability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-quality software across services and components.
• Produce clear technical designs aligned to RX architecture principles.
• Build secure, resilient, observable and maintainable systems.
• Lead pragmatic technical decision-making with trade-offs between speed and quality.
• Improve test strategy, deployment confidence and coding practices.
• Own operational health of services, including monitoring and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and guidance.
