Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to design, build and operate secure, scalable software for global digital platforms. You’ll own complex technical challenges, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate with engineering, product and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, drive engineering standards, and help raise the bar across teams while delivering reliable services with strong observability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
• Experience delivering large, global or multi-tenant production systems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, incremental technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product development teams.
• Experience designing, operating and optimising cloud-native applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Elastic Beanstalk).
• Interest in AI-assisted engineering practices, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Bedrock or agentic AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear technical designs aligned to RX architecture principles and engineering standards.
• Build secure, resilient, observable and maintainable systems that reduce long-term operational cost.
• Lead pragmatic technical decision-making, making appropriate trade-offs between speed, quality and sustainability.
• Improve test strategy, deployment confidence, code quality and engineering practices across the team.
• Own the operational health of services, including monitoring, incident response, post-mortems and remediation.
• Work closely with Product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to join RX Global and help design, build and operate secure, scalable software products used across our global digital platforms. In this senior individual contributor role, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, contribute to technical decision-making, and work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product development teams.
• Experience designing, operating and optimising cloud-native applications on AWS, including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS and Elastic Beanstalk.
• Interest in AI-assisted engineering practices, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Bedrock or agentic AI workflows.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to engineers, product teams and business stakeholders.
• Proven ownership of production services, including reliability, observability, incident response and continuous improvement.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and improving team engineering capability.
