Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to design, build and operate secure, scalable software across our global platforms. You will own complex technical challenges, collaborating with engineering, product and business stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.

You will design, implement and maintain services, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor engineers while improving test strategies and prioritising reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large, complex, global or multi-tenant production systems.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product development teams.
• Strong communication skills across engineers, product teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-quality software across multiple services and components.
• Produce clear technical designs aligned to RX architecture principles.
• Build secure, resilient, observable and maintainable systems.
• Lead pragmatic technical decision-making with appropriate trade-offs.
• Improve test strategy, deployment confidence and code quality.
• Own the operational health of services, including monitoring and incident response.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
