Senior Software Engineer / Developer (Golang API) London / WFH to £95k

Are you experienced in Go / Golang with strong architecture and design skills?

Join a start-up payments technology company revolutionising the payments industry in Africa, enhancing speed, cost efficiency, and reliability.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll focus on backend system design, event-driven architecture, and APIs, emphasizing scalability and reliability. You'll be part of a small, collaborative Agile team working in 2-week sprints, contributing to technical discussions and decision-making.

Location / WFH:

Work in the London, Canary Wharf offices three days a week, with the possibility of remote work within the UK.

About you:

• Experienced backend Software Engineer with strong Go / Golang development skills
• Experience with system design, event-driven architectures, Kafka, API development
• Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures
• Experience working on scalable, distributed systems
• Collaborative team player with Agile experience
