Job summary

Seccl, backed by Octopus, is building embedded investment infrastructure across Europe. As a software engineer, you design, build and operate scalable financial workflow systems using TypeScript and Node.js, in a hybrid model with flexible office presence.

You will own services end-to-end, contribute to a fast-moving, high-trust culture, and mentor teammates while focusing on testing, observability and performance in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• AWS and Serverless product experience.
• Experience in regulated financial services or FinTech.
• Experience mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate reliable software solutions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Own services from design to operation in a build‑and‑run model.
• Ensure testing, observability and performance meet standards.
• Collaborate with product, operations and engineering teams.
