Job summary

T. Rowe Price is seeking an experienced software engineer to deliver ESG data analytics tools. You will lead development in Python with Pandas/Polars, work with Postgres/Snowflake, and collaborate across business and technology partners in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You’ll build scalable data solutions, review code, tackle technical debt, and contribute to tactical and strategic roadmaps while ensuring quality through unit and integration testing. Hybrid remote-friendly.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Hands-on Python development with Pandas/Polars.
Experience with Postgres and Snowflake.
Cloud-based development with AWS & Linux.
Front-end familiarity with React/Typescript is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analysis and delivery of complex Front Office investments data and analytics tools with a focus on ESG data.
Pro-active and independent engagement with business and technology partners to clarify problems and opportunities.
Elicit business requirements, questioning and challenging where necessary.
Contribute to tactical and strategic roadmap planning.
Manage technical debt within the tools.
Proactively help team members and provide feedback on designs/code.
Lead projects or work streams, providing guidance and expertise.
