Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for T. Rowe Price to help deliver cloud-native Front Office Investments Technology tools used by investors. You will work on data, analytics, and decision support across the portfolio lifecycle with a hands-on, full-lifecycle engineering approach.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Quants, shaping solutions, and owning software from design through production in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Java and Python.
• Experience with React, Redux and Node.js.
• Experience building Java services using Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of API design and data modelling.
• Experience with automated testing and modern testing frameworks.
• Ability to take ownership of features from design through production.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, testing, deploying and supporting software across the full development lifecycle.
• Developing front-end applications using TypeScript, React and Redux.
• Building back-end services using Java, Node.js and REST APIs.
• Developing analytics and data processing components using Python.
• Designing data models and working with relational and document databases.
• Writing automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
