Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 5–10 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, C#/F# (.NET), C++, Python, or TypeScript (React/Angular/Node.js)
• Experience owning the full development cycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and delivery
• Experience debugging production software and tracing root causes across components or layers
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical decisions and trade‑offs

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end: analyze requirements, design solutions, write code, test, and ship
• Break complex specs into tasks with realistic schedules and flag risks early
• Proactively fix weaknesses in codebase, tests, and development process
• Investigate production defects and trace root cause across multiple components
• Apply secure coding practices and fix security issues as they arise
• Review code from other engineers with rigor
• Evaluate and integrate open‑source tools and libraries
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and guidance
• Communicate clearly across a distributed, cross‑timezone team
