Job summary

CR3 is expanding its Engineering team and seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and enhance modern web applications for EdTech SaaS solutions. You will work with the Engineering Manager and multiple teams through design, implementation, testing and release, while guiding junior engineers and shaping technical standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, architecture contributions and a proactive approach to adopting new technologies within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the UK.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development.
• Strong Java EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, SQL experience.
• Web development with React and CSS.
• Experience with REST services and automated tests (JUnit/Mockito/Postman).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and SDLC.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and containerisation (Docker).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and tooling (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).

• Design, implement, test and release software across full lifecycle.
• Create reusable modules and scalable web applications.
