Job summary

Olo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Core team, focusing on baskets, orders, checkout, promotions, and capacity management. You’ll shape systems, guide technical decisions, and mentor engineers in a fully remote role.

You will lead cross‑team design, deliver large features, and enhance reliability, CI/CD, and IaC. Expect collaboration with Product and Design to balance quality, performance, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expertise in C#/.NET and large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of complex systems within the Core team.
• Own delivery of large-scale features across multiple teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior and senior engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and stakeholders on requirements and decisions.
• Implement resilient, scalable distributed systems and improve reliability.
• Drive CI/CD improvements and infrastructure as code practices.
• Coordinate cross-team initiatives and ensure integration between services.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and evaluate new tools.
• Own the team's delivery pipeline and code quality, including testing standards.
