Job summary

iCOMAT is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our in-house software team and advance our engineering software tools, including Python/C++ wrappers and automation interfaces for CAD/CAE/CAM platforms.

You will design, implement, and integrate software enabling design and manufacturing engineers to create, test, and produce high-performance composite components, collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience (5+ years) and practical C++/C# coding ability.
• Experience with scientific Python libraries (NumPy, SciPy) and cross-platform tooling.
• Demonstrated industry software development in engineering, manufacturing, or scientific domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel approaches for design and manufacturing problems in industrial-scale composites.
• Contribute to software supporting structures and manufacturing engineers for CAD/CAE/CAM workflows.
• Build and maintain integration layers between internal tools and external CAD/CAE/CAM systems.
