Job summary

The Redline Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative technology company in Surrey. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from software development and system integration through testing, production support and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include developing with C#, .NET, C++, Qt and Python, designing APIs, leading code reviews, and supporting the delivery of high-quality software and hardware integration in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science required.
• Senior software engineering experience with strong C#/.NET background.
• Experience with C++ and Python is essential.
• Proven API development and software integration experience.
• Experience with test automation, source control and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using C#, .NET, C++, Qt and Python.
• Design and implement APIs, communication protocols and data acquisition systems.
• Develop automated testing solutions, verification systems and engineering tools.
• Support software quality through code reviews, CI/CD processes and release management.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning software, firmware, FPGA and hardware interfaces.
• Develop SQL queries, reporting solutions and system integrations to support engineering and business processes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Manage multiple development projects while ensuring high-quality delivery.
