Job summary

Realmgroup is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale high‑performance distributed systems for real‑time blockchain analysis. You will develop crawlers, agents, and backend services powering a leading intelligence platform.

We seek strong experience in distributed systems, cloud‑native architectures, and event‑driven microservices. You’ll work with a globally distributed team in a remote role across the UK and Europe, embracing agile practices and TDD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Master’s preferred.
• Strong experience in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in Golang and Python.
• Experience with microservices and asynchronous systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, Scrum or Kanban, and TDD.
• Autonomous problem-solver with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement crawlers, agents, and backend services for blockchain network data
• Build distributed, asynchronous, cloud-native microservices and serverless systems
• Write testable, containerized, instrumented, and documented code
• Work under Scrum or Kanban, releasing product increments continuously
• Take ownership from testing to deployment and monitoring
