Job summary

Disney Streaming is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Account Management in Manchester. You will design, build, and support automation tools to enable secure, self-service workflows in the AWS environment, while guiding DevOps teams on secure cloud practices.

The role involves working with a talented CAM team to deliver scalable cloud solutions, IAM policy management, and incident response. Collaboration across engineering and production platforms is key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience building on public cloud, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on AWS Security/IAM administration and policy creation for many users/workloads.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Write automation tools for your team and internal teams to self-service, deploy, detect, alert, and mitigate in AWS environments.
• Champion and implement security standards for operating in the cloud.
• Configure and manage IAM permissions for users and workloads in AWS.
• Provide guidance on service design and deployments to development teams.
• Own initiatives and contribute to future solution designs and planning.
• Be a technical resource across levels and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and address inbound issues as they arise.
