Job summary

Marsh are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and support scalable applications, bringing strong Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript expertise and an interest in applying AI to improve delivery and outcomes.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly across any UK Marsh office; you will work with product, architecture and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering maintainable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions using modern engineering best practices.
• Work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and robust unit tests in line with coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance and integration challenges.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and team collaboration.
