Job summary

Marsh is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to drive design, development, and support of scalable applications. You will apply strong Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript skills, while exploring how AI can enhance software delivery and business outcomes.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly across Marsh's UK offices. You'll work with product, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable solutions and contribute to a fast-paced delivery

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of delivery.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience in Agile environments and delivering maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical colleagues to meet business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and robust unit tests in line with coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performance and integration challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
