Job summary

Marsh is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our UK technology team. This hands-on role requires designing, developing, and supporting scalable applications, with a focus on Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and an interest in applying AI to improve delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.
• Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience working in Agile environments and delivering maintainable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable software solutions using modern engineering best practices.
• Work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs.
