JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III in Glasgow to design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology solutions across multiple domains. You will work in an agile team, contributing to engineering best practices and secure coding standards.

You will partner across teams to tackle complex problems, produce architecture artifacts, and help drive innovation with AI-assisted tooling while upholding resiliency, security, and data governance principles.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in coding in one or more programming languages.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large-scale environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within cloud/Data/AI domains.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs.

• Execute software solutions across design, development, and troubleshooting, delivering scalable solutions.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run with associated systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications throughout the SDLC.

• Identify patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contribute to engineering communities and events exploring new technologies.
• Foster an inclusive team culture.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and speed while ensuring peer review and secure coding standards.
• Apply SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to maximize automation value.
