Job summary

MHR International UK Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Java professional to design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale SaaS apps powered by Jakarta EE/J2EE, with modern front‑end work in Angular and TypeScript.

You will help define engineering standards, improve platform scalability, mentor engineers through code reviews, and champion AI‑assisted development using GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery and AI-enabled product innovation.

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience with Java and Jakarta EE/J2EE.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java (Jakarta EE/J2EE).
Build modern web applications using TypeScript and Angular.
Design and implement scalable APIs and application integrations.
Contribute to technical architecture and engineering standards.
Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical coaching.
Collaborate with Product, UX and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Champion AI-assisted development and contribute to AI-enabled product innovation.
