Job summary

Anson Mccade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver bespoke software solutions in a hybrid Cheltenham setting. You will work across the full stack using Java, TypeScript and React, and contribute to cloud deployments on AWS and Azure.

Join an Agile team, implement robust CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, assess software quality, engage with clients and senior stakeholders, and have opportunities to lead projects and client engagements depending on your experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Commercial experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and React.
• Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure.
• Good understanding of software development, testing and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools such as GitLab.
• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
• Comfortable working within Agile development environments.
• Previous consultancy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance
