Job summary

Anson McCade is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer on behalf of a leading defence engineering organisation in Stevenage. You will develop software for mission-critical missile test environments and collaborate across software, electronics, systems engineering and validation teams.

The role emphasises high-performance software, rigorous design reviews and DevOps practices within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. Onsite presence is expected with a hybrid pattern.

Qualifications

• Strong software development experience using C/C++ or ADA.
• Software or electronics engineering background, with transferable skills into software development for test solutions.
• Excellent analytical, design and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience conducting technical reviews and critical analysis.
• A flexible and proactive “can do” approach to solving complex technical problems.
• Ability to develop reliable, high-performance, standardised and well-documented software.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities
