IDPP has partnered with a leading organisation in technology to recruit a Senior Software Engineer for Oxford, offering a hybrid working pattern with a salary of £60,000–£80,000 per year. The role focuses on delivering cutting-edge microservices and frontend work using Node/TypeScript, ExpressJS, React, and cloud infrastructure.

The candidate will contribute across design, development, and deployment phases.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing complex software solutions with Node/TypeScript, ExpressJS, React, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software and solve technical challenges.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent.
• Ability to lead projects from design to deployment and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions and set technical direction across multiple projects.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to enable growth.

IDPP have exclusively partnered with a leading organisation who are currently undergoing significant growth and investment across its Technology, data, Architecture an Platforms and are recruiting for developers to join their expanding software team. We are looking to speak with engineers who have experience of delivering cutting edge Microservices along with React frontend, ExpressJS, AWS and Typescript.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the creating leading customer facing software products from design to deployment, you will also have the opportunity to work across multiple projects/products along with growth as a leader as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions and set technical direction across multiple projects
• Mentor and coach junior and mid level engineers, enabling growth
• Internal and external Stakeholders skills providing innovate and highly effective solutions
• End to end ownership of critical systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security

Required skills:

• Experience in developing complex software solutions within Node/TypeScript, ExpressJS, React, SQL, NoSQL, Cloud Infrastructure or similar technologies
• History delivering great software and solving difficult technical problems
• Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent
• The ability to technical lead project from design to go deployment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams
• Experience of unit testing
• Experience with working with CI/CD pipelines
