About the team

We are a software development team of Java engineers maintaining an event-driven pipeline in a microservice architecture. The platform has evolved from a single-purpose billing platform into an increasingly versatile system with a constantly growing set of functions and an expanding number of global users. We firmly believe these principles will allow us to build robust and scalable software.

This will allow you to elevate the engineering culture in a team of engineers of different levels of experience, to build a company-leading microservice platform.

Responsibilities

Partnering closely with the technical lead to understand complex requirements and implement designs that deliver on the desired capabilities

Apply existing knowledge of the system's core technology to deliver on the product roadmap

Iterate over agile practices within the team, delivering continuous improvements

Proactively engage with other team members to grow their software development skills and encourage engineering best practices

Leveraging the latest technologies, including automation tools, continuous experiments, testing, and learning approaches.

Requirements

Have solid development experience with Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices

Have an understanding knowledge of software development methodologies

Be familiar with using DevOps methodologies such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and the basics of Cloud-Based Infrastructure

Be familiar of architectural principles

Be a great communicator and enjoy mentoring and sharing knowledge with other engineers
