Full-Stack Engineer – Early-Stage SaaS Startup

London | Hybrid (2-3 days in office) | £60,000 - £80,000 + Equity

Albany Growth are working with an exciting, early-stage SaaS startup that is revolutionising the way technical sales and implementation teams operate. Backed by leading European VCs and angels from top tech companies (including Google), they have built a product already in use by teams at some of the world’s most innovative fintech companies.

The Role:

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the product and technology at a crucial growth phase. You’ll be joining a small but highly skilled team, working closely with the founders to build and scale a cutting-edge platform that brings automation and visibility to previously fragmented workflows.

What You'll Be Doing:

• End-to-End Feature Development: Own features from initial design through to implementation and deployment. This could include AI-powered assistants, multiplayer collaboration tools, and intelligent diagramming features.
• Product & User Engagement: Work closely with customers to deeply understand their workflows and shape the product roadmap accordingly.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Contribute across the stack, from frontend development (React, Next.js, Tailwind) to backend services (Nest.js, MongoDB, AWS, Redis). Help drive optimisations and infrastructure decisions.
• Scalability & Integrations: Build integrations with applications like Zoom or Salesforce and enhance platform monitoring/logging.
• Collaborative Development: As an early-stage company, effective communication is key—you’ll be involved in technical discussions, documentation, and decision-making alongside the founding team.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience building and shipping production-ready applications using TypeScript, React, and modern full-stack frameworks.
• Interest in AI/ML engineering (prior experience is a plus but not required).
• A product-focused mindset—you care about the ‘why’ behind features and have a deep understanding of user problems.
• A love for working in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment, where iteration and rapid learning are key.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach—regular feedback and open discussions are part of the culture.
• Preference for working in-person 2-3 days a week in Central London, while still maintaining flexibility.
