Job summary

Frontier Resourcing is sourcing DV‑cleared Software Developers for a leading defence organisation in the UK. Roles span from junior to Principal, within secure programmes and teams delivering mission critical software.

You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, building secure, scalable software and working in an Agile environment with modern tech stacks and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Full stack experience within an agile team building enterprise‑grade web applications or backend services.
• Java development with Spring Boot.
• Front‑end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent).
• Unit testing and test automation.
• Use of code repositories (Git), including branching strategies, pull‑request workflows, and merge processes.
• Experience with data visualisation tools or techniques.

Responsibilities

• Developing high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Contributing to system architecture and design decisions.

We’re supporting a leading defence organisation delivering advanced technology solutions into the UK’s defence and national security sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking for DV ClearedDevelopers at multiple levels (up to Principal) to join their high-performing engineering teams.

The Role

As a Software Developer, you’ll be involved across the full development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development and integration of secure, scalable software solutions.
