Job summary

Areti Group | B Corp™ in City of London is seeking an experienced .NET Developer for a 6-month contract to join a growing technology team delivering scalable, cloud-first solutions. The role focuses on backend services with C#, .NET Core, and Microsoft Azure.

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, build APIs and microservices, and work across the full SDLC with stakeholders to ensure robust, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience building applications and services within Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and modern software design principles.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and data-driven applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.

• Contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.

• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conducting code reviews and promoting engineering best practices.
• Supporting CI/CD initiatives, automation, testing, and continuous improvement across the development function.
• Contributing to solution architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

Job description

Location: City of London – Hybrid 3 days per week onsite

6 Month contract

We're looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join a growing technology team delivering scalable, cloud-first solutions. This role will suit someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working closely with stakeholders, and taking ownership of projects from design through to deployment.

While experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks is beneficial, the primary focus of this role is building and enhancing backend services using C#, .NET and Microsoft Azure.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
• Building and enhancing cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Developing scalable APIs, services, and integrations that support key business functions
• Contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support
