Global Operational Excellence (GOX) develops operational excellence and drives Amazon's growth in a cross-functional environment involving Cross Dock, Fulfillment Center Operations, Transportation, Analytics, and other stakeholders across the Supply Chain.
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join us in enhancing the customer fulfillment experience globally. You will provide expertise in analysis (statistical approaches), Machine Learning product development, and frontend development. Your role involves collaborating with various departments such as Amazon Transportation Services, Logistics, and Global Transportation Services, gaining an in-depth understanding of product flow and processes across the distribution chain.
The EU OPS DEA team is renowned for creating solutions that significantly improve customer experience, with many developments adopted worldwide. You will work across multiple business functions, including Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change Management.
As an experienced developer, you will deliver well-tested releases, manage multiple tasks, and support projects independently. Building strong relationships with operational customers and owning end-to-end deliverables are essential. Your ability to work with big data, develop comprehensive solutions, communicate insights clearly, and contribute as a team player is critical to success.
The Speed and Service Programs team is part of EU Supply Chain, Transportation Planning & Operational Excellence, focusing on delivering efficiency, speed, and sustainable growth. The team manages initiatives like One-Day+ Speed, Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA), and On-Road Delivery Service, improving performance across EU regions and supporting talent development.
