Job summary

AMD is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain the automation platform for large-scale test execution across Linux and Windows. You’ll develop the execution engine, CI pipelines, scheduling, and reporting to support validation, design, and tools teams.

You’ll collaborate with multiple sites, improve developer productivity, and operate systems at scale, taking pride in reliability and throughput across AMD’s global product lines.

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering experience building automation, tooling, or infrastructure.
• Experience across Linux and Windows with test automation focus.
• Familiarity with CI systems, job schedulers, and scalable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI and regression environments across Linux and Windows.
• Develop scalable execution engine to utilize compute and storage resources.
• Design and maintain databases to manage assets, releases, and results.
• Integrate hardware emulation platforms as execution targets.
• Improve validation automation infrastructure and ecosystem.
• Collaborate with tools teams to converge on CI/regression methods.
• Work with Architects and Verification teams to ensure quality releases.
