Job summary

Arm is seeking a Software Architect to shape software strategy across computing segments, focusing on security, reliability and performance for Arm-based systems. You will collaborate with OS, OEM and silicon partners to drive standards and deliver new software paradigms on Arm reference hardware.

Based in Arm offices in Cambridge, Budapest or Bangalore, you will lead integration with major open-source projects, profile and optimize software for AI stacks, Linux distributions, and multimedia

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Arm-based architecture and devices.
• Experience profiling, instrumentation, and optimization for real-world workloads.
• Strong low-level OS and driver development experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand new Arm architecture and IP features and promote their benefits to software ecosystems.
• Analyze existing software solutions, including major open-source projects such as Linux.
• Deliver software improvements back to open-source projects as references for customers.
• Work with OS, OEM and Silicon Partners to drive standards for Arm's Partner model.
• Build new software paradigms on Arm reference hardware designs.
• Profile system performance and innovate ways to improve it.
• Lead validation of functionality, security and safety.
• Collaborate with leading technology brands to develop and deliver software for Arm IP.
